Closest to the neighborhood is a small Broadlands shopping center that is just across Truro Parish Drive. Found here is Parsells Field. This park is located just to the north of Tillett’s Auction Barn and features four baseball diamonds and tremendous views of the Beaverdam Reservoir. Just to the south of Belmont Ridge Road’s intersection with Waxpool Road is the Beaverdam Reservoir Park entrance. This secluded site provides residents with a beautiful setting to go fishing, canoeing, kayaking or hiking around the reservoir. The furthest south of the three is the Brambleton Regional Park. This park is situated next to the National Recreation and Park Association office and features four baseball diamonds, two softball fields, a snack bar and indoor restrooms.
